OROMIA FORESTED LANDSCAPE PROGRAM (OFLP): 2017 – 2023

  • ~35 million tree seedlings produced and planted
  • 10,000+ hectares (Ha) of land prepared for planting
  • 9,400+ Ha reforested
  • 134,000+ Ha set aside for sustainable forest management

🌳 Forest Planning

  • 123,000+ Ha of forest areas now have management plans

👥 Community Involvement

  • 192 cooperatives involved in afforestation/reforestation
  • 78 cooperatives engaged in participatory forest management

💰 Economic & Social Impact

  • Over 70 million ETB (~1.5M USD) distributed for livelihood support
  • 50,000+ people directly benefited
